HIKING

The hiking in our back yard is endless!  From strolls along the Angel Fire greenbelts to extreme vertical inclines to Wheeler Peak, the wildlife and scenery are always spectacular.   For more information on hiking trails please visit http://www.angelfirechamber.org/hiking.html#Hiking.

Moreno Valley Trekkers, a local hiking group, have frequently scheduled activities throughout the year. To see their most recent schedule, click here. The schedule is also a good source for hiking trail descriptions.  You can visit the Moreno Valley Trekkers blog at http://www.morenovalleytrekkers.blogspot.com/.

  1. Am a owner of part of the Hacienda Club in Angel Fire and visit 7 or 8 weeks each year. Will be there during the first week of August; are any hikes scheduled for Monday, Aug 3? Would love a partner to go to Wheeler; have been up twice via the Williams Lake trail and attempted the Bull of the Woods route in late June but had to turn back due to thunderstorms.

    Thanks,
