What a magical day!
Thirty violinists from the Santa Fe Suzuki Violin School joined the thirteen-member Rock Band from the Moreno Valley Charter High School for an afternoon on Saturday October 20, 2007.
Violinists played songs from classical composers such as Mozart, Bach and Vivaldi as well as some fiddling songs accompanied by local bass, banjo and guitar players. After intermission, the MVHS Rock Band rocked the house with some oldies but goodies as well as some great pop tunes. Then the two groups came together to play a Spanish Folk Song that was truly beautiful.
This was a benefit concert to help raise facility funds for the Moreno Valley Charter High School. Parents, students, volunteers and guests packed the community center for a great afternoon of music and made it a huge success! see photo above
