  • Holy Cross Hospital is committed to providing our community with the most progressive health care available.  The 47-bed regional hospital has become a rural health care model for the nation.    Included in the new and improved 89,000 square foot building are 4 modern, digital surgical suites; a private, family-oriented birthing center; radiology and imaging services utilizing the latest diagnostic technology; a full-service clinical laboratory; rehabilitation facilities for physical, occupational, and speech therapy; an intensive care unit with a four bed progressive care unit; and a high-tech, 24-hour emergency room with all board certified ER physicians.  More than 70 physicians are on active or consulting status with Holy Cross Hospital.  Together, they represent a broad range of specialties.  About 50 physicians live in town who are on our active staff. Holy Cross Hospital fully understands the value of medical technology. In fact, the hospital houses some of the most advanced equipment in northern New Mexico. Technology is vitally important to enhancing the level and quality of care.  For example, sophisticated patient records technology in the new information technology system greatly streamlines admissions.  The staff is committed to a personalized, caring approach to each client.   Holy Cross Hospital is proud to be home to the finest and best organized volunteer auxiliary in the state. The Auxiliary owns and manages a first class gift shop in the main hospital; supports a quarterly blood drive; hosts numerous fund raising events annually; and are some of the kindest people on the planet.
