  2. The fishing is great at Eagle Nest lake , best bets are roe sac or power bait. Nice big fish from 15 to 20 inches. The boat docks are not in yet , but boats are allowed . Be sure you have all of your must haves on your boat. Have fun and be safe.

  3. The legend that is the Angel Fire Shovel Race Championships returns February 11th and 12th on the face of Exhibition. Watch racers as young as 6 years old all the way to adults fly down the single lane course. Prizes will be given to the winners at the Awards After Party in the Village Haus. Live entertainment with the Rudy Boy Experiment.

  4. Have you tried Zumba? A new Zumba exercise class meets Monday and Wednesday at 5:30pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 9:00 am at the Angel Fire Community Center. The instructor is Vicki Cody. You can call the community center for more information. 575-377-1544 I heard Zumba is lots of fun!

  6. Wahoo! Bikes, Blues & Brews, this Saturday, September 4! What a great time to be had at the resort hotel in Angel Fire, NM! My husband, Mike, and I are looking forward to tasting the micro brews from all over New Mexico and seeing the new 2011 Harley’s and merchandise from Santa Fe Harley Davidson. I could really use a new leather jacket! Then, as if that was not enough, from 7:00 to 10:00 is the Bikes and Blues Party with live music by The Rudy Boy Experiment. There will be barbecue and a full bar and door prizes. All this for only $15.00 (excluding food and full bar)! Mike and I could not even go to a movie and get popcorn and a coke for that amount. Come on out for a great time at a huge bargain. And, part of the proceeds benefits the David Westphall Foundation!
